So if I want a HOT my color options are what's in stores now plus the red and silver? Alright I think I will get the gold if its in stock.

What is a normal day at YoyoFactory like?
They all differ. Today Harold and Tyler did a news spot at 6am, a yoyo class at 9am and 11am. It's 2pm and Harold is building Superstars, Tyler emails. In art department there are new yoyo art being made for upcoming signature yoyos. Some custom ONE were made for a local store, in the design room a new yoyo for Paul Kerbel was finalized in CAD and the boss, Hans, is on a beach in Hawaii!

Why did most of the northstars get cracks in them?
The first batch wasn't tested as long as we normally test. The rings were a little too big and 1200 yoyos were at risk of cracking. We replaced them for 3 years. All subsequent batches had no problems. Protostars never had a problem
Will the Big Deal Yoyo be back?
No plans to remake it.
What about the other colors for the HOT? I think there is like a black with other acid washy stuff and an orange and blue? Harold showed me and I want the black acid wash color. Are those just like customs or something?

1. We didn't release them, so that's our problem. 2. The red/black silver splash shipped this week
Can you guys make a signature Looping yoyo for John Ando?
No. It took us about 6 years to make the loop1080. I don't think it will cover its development cost ever. We don't know how to do better, and luckily, John likes it.

Wash your hands, dry them well. Use arrid XX dry aerosol anti perspirant.

No chance. We are stoked for the change and think it is in the best interests for yoyo. I know we will not be the only former sponsor not retailing this year and look forward to 2014!

I just bought a loop 1080 and only 1. My parents think my brothers sunset trajectory from yoyojam will be fine to pair up with the loop 1080. Do you think they would go good to pair up?

We haven't changed the vendors or costs so no price changes. New art is simple, hopefully next week we will have done finished pieces to show

Is the Loop 900 better than the Loop 1080?
We don't think so. That's why we stopped making 900s and spent time, effort and money developing the 1080 (which we offer at the same price)
When having vibe on a yoyo, what does tuning mean? and how do you do it?
It's kinda like witch doctors prescription. Most of the information found online isn't correct. But in saying that, it does work. Let me try to explain.... unlike a wheel weight can be added to balance a spinning object yoyos are two spinning objects connected by an axle. The concept of tuning involves aligning the halves to an optimum position to balance the halves. For example, every protostar is balanced this way. That's why they have arrows on them to sure you where the optimum point is.. Lots of people believe having the axle centered is tuning. This is a fallacy. If a yoyo goes smooth while centering the axle it is more luck than management. Trial and error is the best way to tune a yoyo.
