What kind of creative process do you go through when coming up with a new trick? Do you do the same thing when coming up with a contest routine?
HOT: 'When I make tricks I listen to music, try to mach movements with flows and beats. Putting it together in a freestyle is pretty much the same but i get a lot of ideas from constantly watching as many freestyle videos as i can'

What players inspired you on your way to winning nationals, and who do you look to now?
HOT: 'not as much a player but my biggest inspiration isMy dad. He won a National arm wrestling title the same year I won USA nationals. When I was growing up my dad always had trophies and I always wanted to be a champion like him. He was probably my inspiration to practices as hard as I do'

HOT: 'you can get a great yoyo for $15 (ONEstar) I can do all my tricks on them so if they are quitting it isn't because yoyos cost too much.'

HOT: 'you need to loose a lot of contests first. Take some beatings. Its all part of the struggle'

no, but none of them are currently in production.

I'm not saying it is. I know some people have said it but they don't make the decisions :-)
