What do you guys think about Audley? I mean they are abit.......yeah, but they did promote yoyos to a massive amount of people with their show.

Auldey distributed YoYoFactory in China in 2011. We respect them as a major yoyo promoter and wish there were more brands like this around the world.

Besides hubstax, has YYF ever experimented with spinning rims, like the YYJ Synergy or the Auldey Photon Spirit?

The Auldey Photon Spirit rims are an exact replica of a yoyo shown in our G5 Patent, so yes we have. As neither of the yoyos you mention have become mainstream and successful our belief the yoyo world wasn't ready for this appears to be confirmed.... Maybe one day :)

Which current YYF models are made in the US, and which ones are made in China?

The ones made in China all say 'Made in China' on them. We have about 40 yoyos currently in stores, rather than list them if you are curious about a specific yoyo we can answer your question as to its origin.

How long does it take the process of designing then making and all that until a yoyo is ready to be bought?

We can design a yoyo start machining and have production yoyos finished in 3 days, but we have recently started planning things a little more out. A metal yoyo can go from design to global release in 8 weeks. Plastic takes more like 12.

Can we ever expect some transparent purple hubstacks? I would throw my credit card at my computer screen. They would look SO GOOD on my mint DNA.

we made some once! they were on some very limited releases. No plans to make more sorry

Is using gloves good? Is it easy to take the string off your finger and put it back on?

its best on the hand opposite your yoyo to reduce string burn and friction especially in a humid climate.

Ever consider making small bearing versions of some of the modern metals? I really dig my small bearing 888s, but you guys don't seem to have done anything with small bearings (other than for looping) in a long time. Like a size A popstar would be cool, also the dv888.

We actually had some small bearing Czechmate on order but they delivered them large bearing... so yes, we consider it!

my onestar has been responsive for a while and when i switch out the bearing with a new one it still plays responsive. any ideas on hot to fix this?

check the bearing seat. If you have crushed it by overtightening you may be able to loosen it just so slightly and have it spin freely

Two questions, guys: 1. Any plans to come back to the east coast? I was taking a break from yoyo last time you were here. 2. How can I get my hands on one of those Borgerding Protons? Best looking jojo I've seen in a while.

Probably no East Coast Tour this year :( things have started booking up really quickly and with BAC, WORLDS and Nationals all still to come I cant see us getting there. Next year perhaps?
The Pink protons are coming, 30 of them Patrick got his name on a pair but that wont be his edition.... We are still working on that!

Any chance of a Team Edition colorway on some of the new models or maybe a laser blast like the old skylines?

That color might be making a come back yes! the lazer finish was on SUPERNOVA last year like the YUJI supernova?
