We will talk to retailers and distributors to gauge their interest. If we can't find 50 people in a week to pay $200 not sure how they will do at $300....
If you accepted contributions more often, it would be a great way to get fans involved in your projects, feel out the level of interest in specific ideas, promote YYF, and get rid of old stock or B grade stock. So, will you consider doing this again in the future, a few times a year? It's so fun!
It has inspired us to try a bigger more ambitious project later this year. One that we plan and reach out to a non-yoyo audience to try help fund. Lots of learning and great fun talking to fans of yoyo.
When you guys designed the shutter, did you think it was going to be as big of a hit as it turned out to be?
We had a huge belief in gentry. He used shutter in 2013 worlds when he failed to make finals. If he won that day there would have been a release that night.... So we were confident! As it was we released 2 weeks later, shortly after he won nationals and the rest is history. The success of that yoyo is gentry. He is awesome. So is shutter!
For the Dream Titanium contributions, what is your plan if you meet the $20,000 before the 30 days is up? Will you allow us to give more, to expand your project to make more yo-yos? Or, will you cut it off there?
