Do you use dedicated yoyo gloves, or Billiard gloves? I've been using YYE stock gloves for the past few years, and finally switched to Billiards, which are 1/10th the price, play better, and last twice as long.
GS: I use 'new feel' gloves from Rewind

GS: I cut it. It's a feel thing, I don't need to measure it, just not too long

Gentry, when and why did u start to use a glove?
GS: early in my worlds preparations I saw my hands were getting torn up. Now I like the wAy it takes away some of the variables like sweaty hands.

what string should i use with my looping yoyos? poly or cotton?
50/50 is recommended. Pros use poly 6 but watch the wear in the first couple.

Hey Gentry! The best piece of advice you can give on developing a 3 min routine? Also how important are string hits when being scored? Congrats on being World Champ!!!
GS: play to your speed. It's the #1 mistake a player makes trying to play at another players speed or the music speed. Pick music that suits you. String hits aren't important. One more tip, never do your newest trick. Perfect it first.
