1. Does the new translation of fault ms1 only correct the mistakes of the previous one, or were some newer changes applied in it? 2. What is the story behind the new translation being necessary? In previous answers it sounded like you were not satisfied with the previous one.
The new one is basically completely new and faithful to the original Japanese text. The story of localization is boring. I had no idea how translations were supposed to be handled at the time. I was give the impression that liberal stylistic choices were necessary to localize effectively but that simple wasn't the case. I know better now.
