Why is the color way called salmon fade 😂😂😂

Because half is Salmon and half is Pink. We picked the Pantone colors exactly to look like this. Actually Petr did and he liked that name. -Chris

Intermediate here,Blizz/Orca/Manatee?

What is your intermediate budget? Can't go wrong with either. All are quite stable and fun to play with. -Chris

With Zach coming out with a new sig does that mean you'll be discontinuing the Borealis and Big Dipper?

Nope!

Should I buy an Ocra or Manatee? If I had to choose one. Budget: Enough for one Fav player: Andrew Maider, and Harrison Style of throw I like: Floaty but can still play fast with power Fav color: Teal Tricks: More technical tricks Current throws: Blizzard, Borealis, Big Dipper, 7 Summits

Probably go with the Orca. But you already have a lot of full sized throws so something slightly smaller like the Manatee might make your collection more rounded ... But hard to say. From what you have you might actually like the Orca the most. -Chris

My favorite player is Charles Haycock, which yoyo should I buy if I like the kind of the style ?

Charles could make any throw look like magic. He really likes lighter ones that play floaty. Prob the Big Dipper? -Chris

When did you sell solid blue orcas? I have never seen them. Can you please do it again? The Orca is my favorite yoyo of all time by the way!

Solid blue was only the prototypes. -Steve

Should I buy an Ocra or Manatee? If I had to choose one.

Hard to say ... There are a lot of factors. If I was in your shoes I'd prob be considering these things:
What's your budget?
Who's your fav player?
What kind of style of throw do you like?
What's your fav color?
What type of tricks do you like to do?
What current throws do you have?

Is the CLYW Chief named after the Cheerio Big Chief? If so, that's a cool nod to Canadian return-top history!

Nope wish it was though. -Chris

Do players get paid for their signature return tops? How about signature color ways?

For return tops yes team members get a royalty. For colorways we usually just put the money towards travel. A $300-600 flight is usually better than a $60-80 royalty for a colorway. -Chris

Why don't you sell solid blue return tops a lot? It is my favorite color way and I don't see it available a lot. Thanks

We just did it for the Igloo and have for the Orca. You'll like the new Yeti then. 😬 -Chris

Is the Manatee in split fade similar to Igloo in chinook wind but different colors?

Similar, but a lot more subtle. It really turned out beautiful. -Steve

The Manatee is 48.2mm wide, that's 1.5mm wider than a Terrarian, so how is the stability, will tip very easily if it simply hits your finger or if you go too fast?

It's actually quite stable for the width, so I don't think you need to worry too much about tipping. -Steve

Are the current Big Dippers on Yoyoexpert equipped with a Dif e Yo Konkave bearing?

Nope, they have a centering bearing with a profile like this: |\___/|

Why are the Salmon Fade limited? And what does it look like spinning?

They are limited because we didn't make very many...I think only 30 pieces or so? I don't have a spinning pic, sorry. -Steve

How does your players get their own signature color way?

Signature colorways used to be kind of a stepping stone to a signature return top for our team members. We would use them to kind of gauge if a player is popular enough to warrant their own design.
But some players don't really want/need a signature return top, so for them a signature colorway is just their way of having some recognition for their hard work, and something special they can use at contests. -Steve

The blue on the iceberg colorway is darker compared to the blizzard colorway blue, am I right? Like shown in YYBB Borealis blizzard and Orca iceberg.

It varies from one run to the next, but the dark blue on both of those colorways is *supposed* to be the same. -Steve
