Steve, what does the coarse plastic do to the yeti other than cut strings? Are you saying it wears away over time?
I'm saying that because of the specific curvature of the return top body and the coarse nature of the plastic, the Yeti can cut strings depending on what kind of string you are using, and how you play. I personally never have this problem, although Chris has this problem often. But it's there, and it's a design flaw. -Steve

Where do people get the retired models like Peak of Cliff?
They get them from Buy/Sell/Trade forums (commonly called BST). Here are links to two that I can vouch for, but PLEASE note that you should do your homework before sending money or return tops to a stranger on the internet. Ask around, you can usually get references from plenty of other people on each forum. -Steve

What pads fit in the Peak?
I wasn't sure of the answer of this. So I found a used Peak on the BST, bought it, scraped out the flowable silicone (which was in there really, really good) and put in Snow Tires. They fit perfectly! So, regular CLYW Snow Tires fit in the Peak. -Steve
Will regular response pads like from yoyofactory fit in clyw yoyos that have snow tire response?
They'll fit, technically, but they are much smaller than our pads and aren't going to work well, if at all. -Steve
how long does it take to anodize usually if everything goes on plan?
