I was just as Eric's house recently...he and I have been friends for a long time! I've owned quite a few of his custom pieces over the years, and while they are all pretty amazing none of them have ever really been designed to be "produced". All one-offs. Really neat, though. -Steve
Would a heavier or lighter yoyo work better for horizontal tricks?
A very stable, rim-weighted return top would work better for horizontal tricks. -Steve
Hey Steve I was wondering how the splashing actually works, is it completely random?
The material is literally splashed on so yeah, completely random. -Steve
http://ask.fm/CLYWOfficial/answer/130507355840 Same M4 nut inserts as you used for the yeti, since you probably have a bunch of them sitting around from that. Would mean you'd have to mill it though, or find a way to make the negative
Those are molded in, wouldn't work the same for wood. -Steve
I would love to see the 'Orca' black and white-ish color way done by your new anodizer on the Orca, I think the round bubble looking splashes they do would really look like the black and white colors of an actual Orca!
That sort of thing isn't really funny to me. I'm not a fan of the marginalization of women, even if you think it's just a joke. It's really not. -Steve
Got my clyw Wooly Marmot 2. Electric Bacon.
Love it thanks you for the sale.
And you didn't answer my emails why?

Hard to say since I don't know your name or email address. But we answer everything we get. Email me directly at steve@clyw.ca if you need something. -Steve
could you not just use yoyofactory spacers? A wooden orca would be so amazeballs!
Considering how much people already complain about them in the Yeti, nope ha ha ha. -Steve
Why don't people make wooden modern yoyos? Not talking about that Tom Kuhn stuff (although those are awesome too). Why haven't you tried running the GCode for the Chief on a wood lathe, or something like that?
It would be super neat to run some wooden return tops with CLYW profiles. Not sure what we'd use for an axle system, though. Hmmm. -Steve
is it safe to say this upcoming yeti release is its last?
Chris has some more parts that haven't been assembled yet, but not very many. So this is probably the second-to-last release of this version of the Yeti. We're already working on the changes for the next version, which will be clearly, visibly, obviously different. -Steve
Do you already know where will be the retailers of the orcas and when if it's possible?
Release date is June 25th, 10 pm EST. Here's the full list of CLYW retailers: http://www.clyw.ca/pages/where-to-buy. I don't have the list of who ordered Orca's handy at the moment, but if you contact your favorite retailer they can tell you what they'll have available. :) -Steve
release date for the last run of ac2 any time soon
