I fit both these descriptions. I’m sure many people find us strange or weird as we have evolved around functioning in a society to increase our survival odds. However, being introverted and quiet can be caused by a number of things, such as anxiety, overstimulation, childhood trauma, mental illnesses, etc. It is also this judgmental behavior from others that keeps us from getting comfortable enough to become more extroverted.
