~ you know , I heard a supposed "expert" on bbc radio the other day , referring to "GREAT CATS" as "BIG CATS" ! Outrageous !
Even doing a google check right now every single entry talked total shyte ; There was just one small entry by a TRUE expert ; saying ~ there are only 4 true GREAT CATS in the world (the 4 true panthers in the world ~ lion/PANTHERUS LEO ; tiger/PANTHERUS TIGRUS ; leopard/PANTHERUS PARDUS ; & jaguar/PANTHERUS ONCA ~ strictly speaking the leopard & jaguar are the same animal , separated by the south Atlantic relatively recently in their development & specialsation ; both are custom designed to prey on primates , dropping from a tree & crushing their cranium ~ making them potentialy the most dangerous to humans ; the jaguar is the ONLY GREAT CAT/PANTHER , native , on the entire continent of the americas ! All the rest are "BIG CATS" !
What North Americans call a panther / mountain lion is neither of the kind ; tis the puma (etc.) correct name ~ FELUS CONCOLOR , meaning "cat of many colours" . One expert (i forget name) joked , it should be called "CONNOMOS"- cat of many names.
Only the 4 GREATS can ROAR-truly ; the others merely scream , & if anyone thinks THATS a roar . . . you're a pussy-cat , LOL! x . . . (from memory ~ but it's true!!)

~ the problem is , the anti-rejection drugs slay you , beyond belief . . . my pelvis , hip & femur on one side are aching like toothache. . . causes osteoporosos , immuno-suppressed , vulnerable to skin cancer ; the list is endless . . . just being week tonight , pain breaks one down . . . i'll be so pist @ myself in the morning . . . .
