Question Of The Day: (Sorry computer question, ignore if you wish xD): What do you think of Microsoft forcing people to upgrade to Windows 10 when they are on Windows 7 or 8? Do you have Windows 10 yourself or refuse to update to it? Be careful, Microsoft are now trying to trick you to update to it.

I down loaded it when i first heard of it ; then the warnig came (from ' Fevzi Turkalp, the Gadget Detective') ~ "hold of for 6 months , till all the inevitable glitches have emerged & been fixed" . . . . . the launch came & nothing happened . . . so ,i clicked on the icon in my toolbar ; it starts to intall (it had said it would do it auto , on launch) ~ finally it tells me "not compatible" . . . . so , thats the story of '10' ~i'm stuck with '7'

Should you offer up your seat on public transportation to pregnant women? Why or why not?

[my earlier answer was inadequate , so . . ]
~
~get a medicine ball weighing 5 kilos per 50kg of you body weight (allowing for pacenta & all the extra 'gutts') , bind it securely to your lower abdomen with duct tape , keep it on 24/7 ; get some one to boot it really hard regularly & also wrench it about vigorously . . . thats the best i can do for both parts of the question . . .
~ But , did you (anyone) have the misfortune to have to use public transport when pregnant ? (or your partner)?
~ for the record ; my earlier answer :-
. . . I don't use public transport . . . & I wish people who are reduced to this all the seats in the world ~
~ yes i'd offer anything to a pregnant woman ; ~why ? Well , it's making me sweat that there may be anyone to whom it's not obvious ~ OMG , it gets really tough going as EDD draws near . . . ISSAH (who's buzzard eats sausage) is about to burst . . .
~ so many people must just not care nor even talk to their kids , otherwise how do they get into such a fix . . . as to , for example , be reduced to public transport . . . when pregnant ? I mean , where's the 'person' who made her pregnant ? Why ain't he driving her around ? And bought her a car ?

~ Have you ever been to Rhe ? I gave up my brilliant government job & moved to south coast ~just 30 miles to the west , along the coast from Rhye~ ; to try give my then wife a career break . (this was before the kids) ~used to love visiting Rhye , it was like stepping back a thousand years , quaifing beers in an inn actually build pre-1066 !

If you were given a chance to buy last minute tickets on a whim to a artist performing this friday would you go and how much would you pay (considering you are buying them from someone who has already bought them)

There are so many factors to account ~ I would probably need the RIGHT person for company ; & it has to be up front , totally , & back stage pass , & be one of four artists/bands . . . .
~ a major band was supposed to come to see me , when i was king , near Aberdeen ; but one of their front men walk out days before & the tour was cancelled . I met Him though , 9 years later . . . .

When was the first time you got on the Internet? Which websites do you have an account on or used to have an account on?

probably around 1999 ; 2007 @ home . (had bought £1,200 [$2,000] of hardwear previously , then couldn't afford the connection till 2007] ~bebo & myspace is what my kids went on ; me~nothing specific , just googled stuff . . .
