When you were in school did you have an actual bell that went off or was it a tone?Mine was a loud series of tones.

. . . . in primary school (ages 5-11 inc.) ; as well as electric bells with vibrating hammers ; for end of morning "play-time" , some kid took turns @ shaking a acoustic hand-held bell (with a clapper) every school i've ever heard of , including mine & my kid's , has bells for the end of each 40 minute period ; anything else is pretentious . . . . an acoustic school bell DEMO. , in "school ma'am"
