The majority of the vidding community supports abusers, homophobes, racists etc. The majority of the community belives that you can be opressed for being white and/or straight. The majority of the community defends abusers and bullies people. And nearly no one speaks up about it. And I'm tired of that. Why should I not call people out on their bullshit? Why should I, an abuse victim, stay silent about someone stanning an abuser?
Anyone mind explaining to me exactly how I'm a bully? By saying that apologizing an abuser is bad? They defend Johnny Depp, who abused his wife and I'm not okay with that. And I stated exactly that. I didn't call them names or did anything a bully would. Because saying: "Hey that person stans an abuser, which is obviously a bad thing and harmful to abuse victims" is not shittalk or bullying.
Y’all are putting so much attention on me and my friends for not being okay with abuse apologists, but when one of your friends/faves actually does a shitty thing you don't give them even half of this attention. You dislike me? That's fine, honestly. But calling me and my friends a bully because I'm not okay with that kind of shit?
Your hypocrisy is hilarious. People felt attacked by some of the things that person said and you all ignore it. You don't say anything about it. But people aren’t okay with what we said and you all turn this into a big drama. And I honestly should have expected that. Because that’s how this community works. You all stay silent when your faves/friends are being problematic, but make people that call them out to be the bullies.
