Society be like?

Neighbors. Relatives. Distant relatives. All those Sharma Aunties and Kumar Uncles. Pleasing them has become the sole purpose of the life of every Indian youth, voluntarily or involuntarily. We are under constant scrutiny. And to top it all the over burdening peer pressure and moral policing. What will they think? How will they react? What if you are not able to deliver? These questions have become the center of universe for the Indian youth. Maybe, nightmares for some.Regardless of what you do, people will talk. Being a girl is like a cherry on the cake. You have to dress, talk, walk, dream and even eat in a way what the society considers is right. You have a lot of guy friends? The neighborhood aunties will brand you as one shameless promiscuous female. Also, they will question your upbringing. So, you are 25, a female and still unmarried! Wow, another feather added to your cap. Aunties and Uncles have yet another topic to ridicule about.

What are your views about the whole jawline game?

You have a good jawline? That's a plus point. You don't have a structured jawline, that's completely alright. You have a round face? well and good. Giving a bone in ones face so much importance makes me laugh. Jawline king/queen? like seriously? My job interview will consist of questions like how structured my jawline is or how strong my jawline game is right? Am I not going to get married because my jawline game ain't on point? A jawline over talent? looks over personality? Get your act straight guys it's just a fucking bone. TBH, it's stupid and lame "JAW"st saying.

Do you think someone should be labelled as smart or dumb based on ONLY how well they perform in school?

Absolutely not. That's actually ridiculous. People who rely on the education system to test an individuals intelligence are the ones who need some educating themselves. I know so many people with the ability to think unconventionally and to challenge popular belief. I know so many creative people to whom the system of business and science does not suffice. The truth of the matter is, memorising a textbook doesn't make you smart. It makes you someone following the system, someone with sharp memory. And good for them, but having a mind with the ability to think creatively and differently, those are the type of people that are going to change the world. That is the kind of intelligence people need to look out for. Labelling people based on their academic performance is probably the most backward thing in the world. It goes under the category of "women need to cook and clean and not work." I rest my case.

Ideally, how do you imagine yourself on your wedding day? The dress, hair etc? And which designer would you love to have design and make your gown?

Haha this question amuses me. I've never imagined my wedding day, because my mind has never been fixated on marriage. It's always been about what city I want to live in, lofts I want to buy, jobs I want to work as and the places I will reach. I guess I don't have an answer to this question.

You're by far my favourite here on ask. I'm not saying the others aren't nice, but you're really something else. There's absolutely no one on this site who is so inclined to help and just incredibly genuine? I'm not sure if I'm getting my point across, but just never lose that virtue. :)

I'm super overwhelmed by how lovely you are. Thank you so much.
