Are video games/anime degenerate? And if so should they be banned in a traditional society?

I think they can be depending on the content, but aren't necessarily. I'm not anti-technology or foreign cultures in general, so I wouldn't want to see them banned, but I think that in a healthy person's life they should be used only in moderation. Video games and anime are great in that they can have a social element and bring people closer together. I wouldn't say that video games and anime are degenerate themselves but they most certainly can promote degeneracy and degenerate behaviors, especially if used too often. It's all about moderation. It's also about knowing the difference between your distinctive, core culture and auxiliary cultures you experience in entertainment. My upbringing was Russian-American; my core identity is European. Anime and games are heavily Japanese, which is a fascinating culture, but I am fully aware that they are a *secondary* culture to me, not a primary one. I am not Japanese. As long as a person knows what their core culture is and how it should guide their personal choices, I don't see the harm in some exposure to secondary cultures.
For me personally, a few anime series strongly reinforced my personal commitment to European traditionalism, Utena and NGE being core among them. The overlap between anime fans and NRx is quite noticeable, and I don't think it's exclusively just an artifact of the fact that NRx has a lot of young nerds.
Any real man is going to primarily focus his efforts on the real world and accomplishing things there, not a fantasy world.

Is consequentialism right?

no. it's compelling but not the whole story. qualitative value matters a whole lot more than quantitative value, which consequentialism ignores.

How do you feel about the majority of the AltRight being composed of white populists who advocate the return of nothing more than a stop gap of Fascism instead of a proper system monarchy ?

fine with me

Emergent group think in the mass media (be it in the audience or the journalists), organizations, and blog comments sections is a threat to any serious discussion of ideas. Do you have any thoughts as to how to prevent a forum of ideas from degenerating into an ideological singularity?

yes
on More Right I forbid comments so only other people with blogs can respond
it's fairly simple

When will your book on monarchy be published?

Within a month hopefully. I'm only about 40 pages from the finish but I keep finding new things I have to read before completing it. Very soon, I promise.
