How would you explain color to a blind man?

Red is like fire,it make you warm.
Orange is like tangerine, it's sour and sweet.
Yellow is like triangle, it reminds you something.
Green is like grass, it brings you new air.
Blue is like sea , it's cold but let you relax.
Purple is like berry or grape, you know what it tastes.
Maybe I would explain like this?

just tell him to be a happy man.
because when you are happy, that happiness can explain so many colors. tell him to never being sad .
BE HAPPY!
(sorry for these bad english la)
Shape, sound or smelling.
We used color for explaining a kind of "feeling" then we can create memories and build ourselves.
So I think we can use words of other senses to make them know what's the "feeling" of something.
It will never be as same as real visions. But if it can help them to understand the "feeling" of common people, maybe it's enough.

我竟然能好好用英文回答這個問題XDDDDD
First of all I’d ask him whether he has ever seen colours before or he’s been blind since his birth, and make sure if he needs my oral explanation on colours
to me, each color is kinda feeling. tell the man about how that feeling is, or let him feel it by himself. thereby, he can understand the color. i’m not blind, but i often do the same thing when i draw or see a picture. it helps me dig into the deepest parts of colors that my eyes can’t. and colors, vice versa, concrete my vague feelings. personally, i luv blue and white, even though white is not a color in art. how about you?
