⠀⠀⠀Isak didn't believe him, he didn't believe anything that came out of the other man's mouth. Perhaps the disbelief was written all over his face or maybe the stress of the events that occurred on that day were catching up to him, masking any form of emotion on his face. He couldn't grasp the fact that there were people around hunting supernatural beings. All of it seemed like a script for a Sci-Fi movie. Then a completely different idea formed in Isak's mind. "Is this a prank?" He suddenly asked, before Niki managed to step inside his car. "Did Jonas put you up to this?" His best friend worried sometimes, that Isak spent too much time studying and beating himself over the things that couldn't be changed. Perhaps this was his way of showing Isak that not everything should be takes as seriously as he does it. "Yeah, I get it now." He rolled his eyes and sighed dramatically. Perhaps he was being unreasonable, but with the lack of sleep he'd had and the aftershock of seeing all those dead bodes, no one could blame him. Isak's green eyes landed on the car that was next to them. "Can you give me a lift home, though?" He wondered, not sure if he could manage taking the bus home without freaking himself out.

⠀⠀⠀Rose definitely wasn't dumb. After all, she was the only one who could find Isak in the matter of minutes, after he walks away every time. But there were some truths, that even the blonde Moroi couldn't face. He sighed in dissatisfaction and rolled his green eyes at Rose's approach of the situation. "I have no idea what you're talking about. Zero, nada. I think you've mistaken something and this is clearly nothing close to what it looks like." Isak opted for denial. He was not ready to face all of his problems in one day. He'd rather just start with one, the most important one. "Actually, I'm so happy to see you, Rose. I think you and I have some scheming to do." Isak addressed her with faux sweetness, leading her out of Adrian's room. Before closing the door behind them, the young boy turned to his brother and scanned the room once more. "I'd rather not be here when he wakes up." He explained to Adrian, who didn't seem that happy about the fact that he was being left alone there. But he didn't protest, because he knew what Isak wanted to talk to Rose about. After the door was closed, he lead both of them to the closest garden on the Royal Court premises. Him leading them was more like Isak just walking forwards and expecting Rose to follow, because she was on guardian duty and frankly she had no other choice. Not really. Not yet.

⠀⠀⠀"We need to end this." The youngest Ivashkov male spoke, once they sat down at one of the many benches that were placed around the garden in random spots. "We each have our own reason to dislike this arrangement. And, whilst Lissa is too polite and too loyal to the Moroi around her to do anything about this, you clearly don't have the same problem. Therefore, I think, if we put our heads together, we both could come up with something that'd end pleasantly for all of us." Isak offered, twisting the corners of his lips up in a charming smile. He wasn't even conscious of doing it, already so used to living up to everyone's expectations about the Ivashkov charm.

⠀⠀⠀Isak knew that he was spoiled by Even in every aspect of their lives. Not only did the older boy put up with his constant whining and grumpy moods, but he also went out of his way to show Isak that he was loved every day and every minute. Of course, it came with their friends constantly teasing Isak about it, but he always had a snappy remark to respond with every time.

⠀⠀⠀But Isak decided to make their anniversary all about Even and pleasing him. The younger boy had gathered enough savings for the tickets to Marrakesh, where they both had talked about going some time ago. It was hard, doing something behind Even's back and not being able to talk about it with his boyfriend. But he had done it, the proof of that stood in the envelope at the breakfast table. Which should also be filled with delicious food, but Isak was struggling in that department. It wasn't really his fault, no. He was just used to having Even always cooking for him and making sure he's always fed. However, the younger boy always did the dishes after, so that he wouldn't feel completely useless. Also because Even asked him to and, everyone who knew Isak and Even, knew that they would do anything for each other.

⠀⠀⠀He was startled a little by Even's sleepy voice coming up from behind him. But he shouldn't be that surprised, seeing how Even was an early bird and would always wake up before Isak. It might also have something to do with the fact that Isak would sleep until 12pm, when he had the chance. "God morgen." He replied before turning off the stove.

⠀⠀⠀Blonde boy then quickly placed the food on the plates and, instead of sitting in his own seat, he decided to sit on Even's lap. "How could I forget, baby?" Isak replied and kissed him softly, as if making his point even clearer. "We have all today for packing and then the taxi is picking us up tomorrow at 10am." He continued, leaning only far enough that he would be able to look in his boyfriend's eyes who then spoke about his gift for Isak. "I'm as ready as I'll ever be." He responded and placed another quick peck on Even's soft lips.
