Idek what an indie blog is but use tumblrplug to get more followers and you can participate in gp's where you have to follow people (you can gain from those) and just be interactive with your followers :)

Well before I had 3k I just talked to a lot of people and used tumblrplug so much and then after 3k I joined promo groups on FB such as wallflowers and Ryder's and got into gp's and I've gained soooo much from them :)
