How effective would 250mg of sulfasalazine twice a day (500mg total per day) be? I'd assume much less effective, otherwise you wouldn't be taking such a high dose. I'll probably go with 500mg twice a day (1000mg a day), but I'm just wondering about a lower dose since sulf is quite expensive.

It seems to be dose dependent if we're going by the literature available.
Expensive? You can get a hundred 500mg tablets for 24$ at inhouse.

I've been on fin/min for 6 mth didn't notice much. Taking castor (oral & topical) for 2 weeks and seeing tiny baby hairs grow in vast numbers across crown. Should I stop fin/min?

You should definitely at least stay on fin. Not sure about minox, if you think it helps then you should stick with it as well.

Swiss, a question about your Kerastase Densifique shampoo. One of the listed ingredients is salicylic acid, a COX inhibitor....what's up with that? I thought you were very adamant about not using any COX inhibitors in the protocol...Thoughts?

I don't actually see in the ingredients on mine. Maybe it differs from country to country? Thanks for the warning though

Where/how do you get VPA and Sulfasalazine?

I got VPA from a groupbuy but you can buy the pills and dissolve em in ethanol. Sulfa from inhouse.

Forgot to mention this in my last question. Sorry. I have PMS sulfasalazine EC. Is it the same thing as regular sulfasalazine?

Eri sheme
Feel free to ask more questions if you have them, no worries. I just don't always have the time to get to them unfortunately. Anyway yes those are fine. EC means enteric coated which is actually the preferred form.

How would I apply LiCi all over my scalp? I'm a diffuse thinner.

Eri sheme
I wouldn't say licl is needed in diffusers since it's mostly intended for truly bald scalps.
If you want to use it you can either dissolve it in water or ethanol, both works.

halo. so what is the corelation between reduced blood flow, lets say due to stress, and androgen receptors and PGs? lets say you restrict the blood flow to the scalp of a woman, and her hair starts to shrink and eventually falls, does it still have any connection with DHT?

Well if you have truly, severely reduced blood flow the tissue won't get enough nourishment anymore and it starts to die. That's not only the case with hair of course. No it's not related to DHT. But in general the "blood flow" theories are not correct. It only affects your hair in extreme cases.

Hi Swiss, In the sheets that you posted you refer to endogenous PGE2 production. What is the difference with exogenous? Does it have to do with the topical/oral dose?

ManDoc87
Endogenous means produced by your own body. Exogenous means you supply it from an outside source.
With PGE2 endogenous is your natural pge2 levels, exogenous means applying pge2 powder that you bought from somewhere.
