why are you curitiba instead of more touristy places like rio or sao paulo?

my dad lived in curitiba for two years while he was on a mission for our church and he also did an internship there for a year with GM~~ so he knows it really well and has wanted to come back for a while!!! so thats the main reason

very old and very not so great but enjoy
When I was little I made pictures of fluffy white clouds and bright paper suns and of people with wide smiles
Sketching my world that was so simple
as the years passed the colors drained into murky puddles
the smiles changed from curves to jagged lines
and the clouds hung lopsided
Threatening to fall from the sky
the grins that were at one point fixtures became mosaics, fragile and fleeting
my mind a tangle of new and complex emotions that came with the territory of
‘growing up”
the childhood game of stepping only on the lines
became a mundane command
I picked apart my brain piece by piece, to recapture ignorance
to discover what set me apart from the girl who caught raindrops on her tongue, tasting the world, embracing it with open arms
and then I remembered that as a child not only did I paint pretty pictures but I never hesitated to pull my heart from within me and place it into the hands of whomever I came across
only then do I glance down and see the box that my heart now lives in, cobwebs hanging in the corners
