What is your notable or funny #Warcraft noob/newbie story when you first started playing the game?

When I first started playing my warrior in vanilla (yes, I'm one of those old-timers), I didn't realize that the "Attack" toggled AUTOattack. So I thought I had to keep pressing it. So I went through most of my early fights spamming 1, and turning my autoattack on and off and on and off endlessly.
I somehow managed to get my killed by the Undercity elevator. Twice.
The less said about Thunder Bluff, the better.
I also remember wandering around Tirisfal Glades as a then-level-14 undead and finding the Bulwark. Feeling curious and exploratory that day, I decided to go have a look what was in the next zone over -- the Western Plaguelands...which at the time was a level 50-52-ish zone. So along the rode I went, until that first ?? spider saw me. Ouch.))
