You haven't been on much lately. What's up girl?

I don't know, it's like I lost the reason I ever made this account. But I'm trying to remember.

I want proof that god exists. Why won't he just come out of the sky and show himself? Do I need to start doing something really awful so he will act? It never seems like god is there. Bad things happen to good people and vice versa, as well as good things happening to good people. There is no God.

Have you ever been to the ocean? Have you ever seen the waves hit the rocks, water rushing through crevices, splashes of water shooting up into the air? Have you ever looked in the mirror and just stared at the person looking back? Have you felt the warmth of the sun on your skin, the wind through your hair? Have you ever heard the cry of a new born baby, held it's tiny hand?
If you have, you've felt God.
God is all around you. He is why you exist.
The human body is so complex. The mechanisms of your heart. The skeletal system. The complexities of your brain. No human can construct a human brain, let alone truly comprehend the extent to what goes on in the mind.
Bad things happen to good people yes. All the time. Do you ever wonder why?
Though we may not always understand why things happen, God does. He knows what he is doing. He has a plan for you. It may not be what you want. But he has the perfect plan for you. You just have to have faith through it. Don't let go. Don't give up on him, because he'd never give up on you.
You see, God is omniscient, he knows things we don't, he sees things we don't see, he understands exactly why things happen. While we lack the ability to see the whole picture, he does.
Bad times will come. People will betray us when we have nothing but good intentions. We will have our hearts broken. Death will inevitably happen. The reality is that so many things about life aren't fair. They just aren't. & they won't be. At least, not yet.
I can't convince you that there is a God, but I can testify that I know without question that there is a God. He lives, and he loves you. and no matter how much doubt you have, you can find certainty in the truth that there is a divine being, a God.

Do you ever feel like the repentance process is too hard on people? I feel like people should just realize what they did was wrong and try to make it right rather than reviling in their own guilt. This seem very flawed to me.

No, I don't. Repentance isn't meant to be easy. Know why? If we could even fathom what it would be like to suffer as the Savior Jesus Christ did how could we ever think that? He not only suffered in the garden bleeding physically from every pore but he felt it all once again on the cross. Twice, he suffered our sicknesses, our pains, our fears, our sorrows. Is repentance supposed to be easy? was his sacrifice? No.
Repenting doesn't mean you feel horrible forever. It doesn't mean it weighs you down and you never let it go. It means recognizing first what you did wrong. It means feeling true sorrow. Sorrow that you hurt God, because when you sin? it hurts your father in heaven. You know how it feels to hurt your earthly dad? well, it's like that but worse. You feel bad, not because you are embarrassed, but because you hurt him. Repenting means that you ask God for forgiveness. Guess what? be truly repentant and God not only forgives you but FORGETS. hear that? FORGETS. that's amazing. then God asks that you make things right. If you hurt someone else, you fix it. If you sinned, you try your very hardest never to do it again. and most of all, you move on. you let it go. you forget, and you do your best to make Heavenly Father proud.
Repentance doesn't mean you feel horrible forever. It means you feel godly sorrow and you commit never to sin again. it means having a change of heart and never wanting to hurt your Father in Heaven again. it doesn't mean you suffer. That's what repentance is. All you have to do is come unto Christ and ask forgiveness, and he forgives your sins. It's simple. It's not easy.
But it's worth it. and I promise you that.

Why is the church so sexist? Everything is aimed toward men, almost all of the book of mormon/ bible characters: men. The god head:all men. The majority of conference talks: men. Don't you ever feel that you are treated unfairly?

I've never once questioned this luckily. I have never felt less than. I've never felt like the church isn't fair. I actually just had a lesson about this. So a common misconception is men have the priesthood, women have childbearing. But it doesn't work like that. the priesthood is NOT men. the priesthood is the power of God and without God there is no priesthood. The priesthood is the authority to act in the name of God when worthy to do so. However, just because the priesthood is the men's primary role doesn't mean they can do it alone. Just as a woman cannot conceive without a man, neither can the man fulfill his priesthood duties without a woman.
Want to know something? Women are so amazing. They aren't like men. They are naturally nurturing and loving in a way that men will never be. I truly believe that women are so sacred. It's part of the reason we don't hear about our heavenly mother. We have one, and she loves us, but she's sacred enough not be be talked about and abused as God often is. There are many women in the bible as well as the book of mormon though. Though not as many, can you honestly say that women such as Sariah or Ruth or Esther don't stand out to you? because to me they do. They are incredible testaments of faith and while there were clearly many other women around at the time these ancient records were made, I don't believe it's necessary. What more do we need? It's so obvious how important women are. And that does not go unnoticed in the church. I'm happy with the way things are in the church, I know they are the way God would have they. I wouldn't have them any other way.

What is the deal with the law of consecration? So basically everyone gives what they have to the church and they divide it equally, correct? That sounds a lot like communism to me.

Okay well to start off, to consecrate simply means "to dedicate" or to "make holy." the law of consecration is very personal. It means to give up your time, talent, and yes material wealth in the form of tithing and fast offerings and dedicate it to God. Okay, so yes, maybe others benefit from what you give. But it doesn't work like, okay I give this and we all share the whole sum. You personally make the choice to dedicate or consecrate your life to God and give him your all. In turn God blesses you individually. Now the whole material wealth thing I can see where you'd think that but that's the thing is tithing goes into building churches, and temples, and providing hymn books and materials for church organizations and things like that. Additionally so much money goes into helping those in need such as those of natural disasters.
I guess? the way I personally think of the law of consecration is this. It's MY choice. If I want blessings from God I prove to him I'm willing to give up anything for him. Because everything truly already is his. So for me paying ten percent of what I earn isn't a big deal. Because I know where it goes. I know that it helps people. I know that it is used for good. and most of all, I know that God will bless me for sacrificing for him.

If I told you I love you, and even though you don't know me, would you believe me?

You know, I know it's possible because I seriously love all the people I've ever briefly met or the people I've met on twitter. I have a hard time believing peoples love for me anyways, but yes, I would believe you.

What was an experience where you felt your testimony growing?

going to institute, fought with my brother on the way there. In class we listened to a song. It was if the Savior stood beside me. My testimony of my daily small actions increased and it reminded me to try and get back to where I was when I was so conscientious of that.

You've changed

I have. If I never did I'd never get better. I certainly get worse. But I get better sometimes too.
Honestly? I'm scared to death of having my heartbroken. So I'm waiting. in fear.
what do you think, for better or worse?

Who is the most flawless women alive?

flawless? you mean ugly? a woman without flaws isn't beautiful.
btw. the question should be *woman, not women. women implies more than one, thus the grammar on this question is incorrect.

If I could grant you any 3 wishes what would you wish for?

1. to have enough money to sustain me and a family for the rest of my life as well as have some to share with my family, because I know that would be so helpful to them. 2. be with him with no complications, all would be well. 3. that people would ask me for help more often. and an alternate wish - be prettier.

Is it better to do the right thing for the wrong reason or the wrong thing for the right reason?

You know? That's a tough one. I'd say do the right thing for the wrong reason and eventually maybe you'll start to do the right thing for the right reason.

You have a super lyrical way with words. Do you write poetry?

I do write poetry. Sadly I think that I think better than I write. I go to write and the words escape me. It's a bad habit I'll have to work on.

Where do you wanna be in 10 years

I want to be a place in my life where I feel happy and successful. Hopefully I'm living with the love of my life, maybe I'll have a kid. I just hope I make myself proud.

What is your opinion on NCMO?

the way I see it, I only want to kiss someone if they are super hot (which like who is even super hot haha) or I have a super hot connection with them. If I don't, the kissing will suck, so why waste it? kisses are special to me. and honestly if I kiss you and like it, I WILL fall in love with you. I just feel like an NCMO is a really lame way to just give yourself away. Like it's just kissing to kiss? to me that just seems sad. that you want to fulfill physical desires more than you want a real connection. my thoughts.
