I am so bad at math and im flunking all my math tests at school and failing the courses. I have tried tutoring to no avail I just can't grasp the concepts no matter what I try. My GPA is falling and Im at risk of being dropped from honors classes. Advice?
Hey I feel you. I was terrible at math myself. I'd say try tutoring again. You might have just been working with the wrong person. It's gonna suck and be a ton of hard work, but with much study I bet you can get the basic concepts well enough to at least not fail. You might also consider dropping down to a more remedial math level if possible. No shame in it! Good luck.

That's a big decision. I'd say if you aren't planning on doing something related to football as a career, it's not worth risking further injury. You need to look after your body, it's the only one you have.

are you one easily swayed against something by hype? in the sense that if so many people talk about something being amazing, it makes you more critical towards that work than you'd usually be, especially if it doesn't fully deliver on the things they promised.
Hm that's a good question. If I'm honest with myself, I'd have to admit I tend to lean this way. It can be as unhealthy a habit in its own way as giving in to hype is. I like to think that for the most part, I remain open to quality stuff when it crosses my path. For example, I generally don't like superhero movies or the "Marvel Universe" and was prepared to dislike GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, but it's undeniably fun. I just use that as a recent example.
I'm the guy with the daughter who was getting bullied on her bus. Turns out, the next day the kid slapped her on her mouth, and she punched him back in the arm. Mr. Demarco, what are some important life lessons it took you a long time to figure out? Like years of your life?
Hm. Good, good question. I'd say, when dealing with something unpleasant, I've found it's always better to confront the issue head-on. Another lesson it took me years to understand is that you have to find a partner who can take care of YOU as much as you will take care of THEM. Also, never buy a house unless you are super financially secure. Ownership is overrated. Finally, make sure that if you work with others, you give credit to your collaborators and support them in any way you can.

Big Sean's album is not amazing, but it's a lot of fun and has some hot singles. RE: The Wu-Tang, I'm sorry to have to say this, but it was a big disappointment. The Wu are out of gas.
I have dyslexia and am not the greatest at school and my parents seem to have given up on my chances at a decent college. They always talk of my sister who is a sophomore at Harvord. I really hate being this way and I hate myself sometimes. Any advice?
I'm sorry you feel that way. Dyslexia can make school a challenge, but it's certainly not insurmountable! Plenty of wildly successful people are dyslexic. I think if your parents are making you feel like they've given up on you, you might consider sitting down with them and letting them know how you feel. They can be proud of your sister and her accomplishments, and still leave room in their hearts for YOUR successes. Communication usually helps. Don't hate yourself for something you can't control, it's wasted energy. You have dyslexia, it makes your life harder than it should be sometimes, but it doesn't have to be the end of the world, either. The world is hard enough to deal with, without you beating up on yourself. Cut yourself a break! And good luck.
