Sure, it's pretty easy: listen to your people, take their needs seriously. And help them understand what you want from them in a clear and concise manner. If you aren't giving them support and a direction you are failing at being a boss.
Any advice for asking a girl to prom?
Just do it. I promise, you can survive it if she says no, it's happened to me. Just be straightforward and don't get too fancy or creepy. Ask away and be cool if the response is "no thanks." And really, good luck. Hope it goes well for you.
