I read allot of forums and I think the fans are getting tired of staying up until 6AM myself included. With all due respect I hope there is some good news coming in the near future to get us excited for something again.
Two new shows in two months and a weekly world premiere aren't enough to get you excited??
It's mostly that I've become frustrated with the big scifi/fantasy and how they treat subjects of race and gender in Star Trek and game of thrones. I'm wondering if discworld has more social commentary on modern issues. Or for that matter does dune?
Dune is one of the "deepest" sci-fi sagas ever made. Discworld has social commentary, but I'd say it's light.

Have you read the discworld books? Would you recommend them to somebody who is looking for something better than Star Trek?
I've read a few but not all of them. They're fun! I have no idea why you'd be comparing them to Star Trek. If you want something BETTER than Trek, I'd say start reading Frank Herbert's Dune books.
Do you feel that the younger generation is turned off by a some films simply because it is black and white?
Oh I think that's always been the case. There are obviously a ton of amazing b&w films. I can't say I prefer them, but for me the format doesn't matter as much as things like who wrote, directed, produced a film...
Looking back 10+ years later, how big of an impact do you think you had with the help of the animation boom? Do you ever think something like that will happen again?
That's really hard to quantify. I'm certain we helped and were a part of it, especially now that years later an entire generation of kids tells me they grew up on Toonami and were exposed to their first anime there. As far as if it might ever happen again… you never know!
I feel depressed do you have any advice?
Talk to a friend, or do something fun and productive to take your mind off of it! Failing that, physical activity can sometimes help!

One Piece is doing horrible on Toonami atm. A 300k drop was just reported, within two weeks its been beaten by Blue Exorcist and even Soul Eater. Whether skipping 200 episodes is starting to show negative effects, is a new lineup switch inevitable now? I'm genuinely worried right now, please answer.
