What do you feel you could improve on in your writing/what have you learned from past pieces that you will apply to the future? Similarly, do you have any insecurities regarding your personal aesthetic/brand or how you engage with it (and if so, what are they)?

i feel like i could improve way more things than i have room to list in my writing. i'm 19 and have a lot of time to develop my writing. i feel fine with that. i have no clue how to answer your second question. i have a lot of insecurities about not seeming 'original'. a lot of criticism of alt lit is that "we" are all tao imitators. i dont' want to be that. idk. i also just generally feel insecure. it comes in waves. this is a difficult question.

who has changed you most and how?

i feel like there isn't really one single person that has changed me more significantly than any other person, i feel like every human i interact with changed me in some way and basically i feel like this question is impossible to answer.

idk, if you took all the things inside a human (blood, organs, intestines, etc) and put them in a pile you could certainly describe them as goopy. if they're goopy outside of the body, why aren't they goopy inside the body?

i realized that i shut someone i used to know out of my life completely. when i saw his dog the other day, he remembered me and licked my hand. do you shut ppl out sometimes?

yeah i do that a lot unintentionally. i don't usually initiate interaction w/ ppl so i find myself realizing i haven't talked to someone i really like a lot in months, and it's just because the idea of initiating interaction makes me feel really goopy inside

where is the zaniest place u ever 'done the deed'?

construction site (wouldn't recommend, dusty), the backyard of a stranger's house, the bathroom at memo's (wouldn't recommend, it's the bathroom at memo's)

whats your fav power ranger?

i vaguely remember living in an apartment w/ my mom and the only channel we got was fox and it was really fuzzy and power rangers was on a lot. whenever someone says something about power rangers that's all my brain does. i guess i don't have a favorite.

i spend a lot of time feeling scared/depressed/overwhelmed because it feels like there is 'no point' re: life, etc. i can understand religion because it gives people a 'point' re: life, etc. no religions really make much sense to me on an intellectual level so i dunno, i'll just live life and then die and who knows

What's the nicest thing about summer days?

waking up w/ mild hangover at ~9:30 am, drinking 1 beer, going outside and it is warm but not hot yet, getting pho, wandering around aimlessly... i miss capitol hill

If you could be half man half animal, which animal would you choose?

my initial answer is 'slug' like i want a slug body instead of legs and a normal human torso/neck/head, but a slug isn't an animal so
