Is this real life?! Like wtf is happening. First we get killed in the most important game we've played so far. Now our coach gets fired in a crucial part of the season and when we SHOULD be rebuilding and getting bak on our feet, instead we're coachless and defeated and down on our luck....goodbye playoffs 😭😭

Not forced to, like Cam said, explain to him how its been done and how you all play. Let him see how you do in a couple of games and hopefully he wont change anything, just like tweak very very small things. xxx

We dont need to be tweaked everyone knows their position and what they are supposed to do in it on all the plays. Who they're supposed to get the ball to and what to do in all our plays situations this new guy wont understand that we've played together i long time and we work well together! ....well except for yesterday

Yeahh we joked like...what if this is his way of doing a major drastic team builder ha...but then we were like no that cant be right because it's like on our school's website about him getting let go and it's on our like area's newspaper as well. It isnt just a stunt. But we will have to all work together.

Our JV coach said that basically the seniors are running our practice today which isnt me but we were told that we kno wats going on too so we're expected to be able to do what we're supposed to do and run our own practice...🙄

Idk the superintendent is the one who let him go. So it would be going the whole way up to the school board. from wat i heard most of the guys dont want him bak 😕

I mean like i kno wat u're saying yes. But it's how he is. He's a tough coach. But when u play with him for awhile u learn and realize that it's tough love. He does those things cause he loves us and wants us to succeed and up until yesterday i mean we were really getting results! And like i've said with the conditioning too like yes it's tough but it's helping us in the long run.

Yesterday he was like acting like a crazy guy screaming at us but like it's normal cause thats what he does but then he was talking about how we have to defend the goal better so he made all of us line up infront of the goal and then had jv kick balls at us and we would have to run 5 laps for every ball that went in. Then we had a mini scrimmage and he played with us and him and a kid were going up to head a ball and coach headbutted him i didnt think it was on purpose but they are saying it was and someone complained and he got fired for disciplinary actions

Maybe the team secretly did like him and made complaints or parents for you guys working so much. Or maybe he quit cause he felt like he let you guys down. Who know xx I'm sorry to hear though

They're just not league games lol games against other teams preseason games etc. hopefully we finish with a league record of 11-1 and a season record of 17-1 that's the best we can do right now but uhh idk. Getting ahead of myself

Well u and Cam have helped immensely u guys are amazing at cheering me up and making me feel better. I wish that worked on me physically cause i feel like i've been hit by a truck lol but in my spirits u have helped make me feel better. I just kno tomorrow's practice will be rough now 😒

Yeah. Days like it where you are looking forward to something and then it doesnt work out are awful. Reminds me of our first game. We were so excited and we lost like 11-0 or something haha. that was a wake up call lol. At least its nearly over. xxx

Most schools here are like what i assume schools are like in America. If you have time try and find a show called "Educating Yorkshire" on youtube. Was a documentary about a school that wasnt doing well but like got better over the year.
