When did you first know that your teammates had your back?
🚨Long answer alert🚨 lol If we’re talking about my travel teammates then i would say when i first made the team 4 years ago. We were all still pretty new to each other and didnt really know each other much but one of our first tournaments we all slept in one room lol and we bonded and then i remember the next day during our one game there was this kid who was being a real douche like he was handsy and he fouling me none stop and would do watever he could to foul me or knock me down. So i wasnt retaliating because i had been taught not to do anything bak it would just make things worse and so i wasnt doing anything but so the kid had the ball and he rammed into me and knocked me down and was dribbling past me and two of my teammates sandwiched him purposely knocking him to the ground and both got carded for it lol. And they told the kid to leave me alone and from then on if the kid did anything to me, my teammates would trip him or elbow him or do something to like hurt him bak. And i just thought that was so amazing because like i had just met these guys like a week prior, pretty much all of them were older than me, we were thrown together on a team, and now they were being so nice to me lol like it was sweet. And thats how i knew that they had my bak and i of course have their baks always.
