Same the rule for lightning is 30 minutes everytime we see lightning. So we only saw the first initial one but if another one were to happen it would start the 30 mins over😕. It's been like 15 minutes lol and we still have like 25 minutes left it's only the first half

Update: started pouring right as we were taking the field which is no big deal we play in rain but then about 5-10 minutes ago we saw lightning which we can't play in so we're currently in the locker room waiting for it to hopefully pass lol

Yeah would mean your coach was up to speed, on the other side might have slowed you down getting up to speed yourself if you had to like not progress as fast because of the JV 😕 xx

Could be or could be that they havent found a coach they believe is good enough to coach you. But yeah does perhaps sound like your JV coach is out of his depth a bit. xx

Well at least he is determined to get you to the playoffs. Probably means nothing much will change team wise, he'll just want you to play as you do, thought theyd have tried harder to sort a new coach for you tho. xx
Idk they obviously dont care enough to get us a coach. Basically wat i took out of the meeting is that we have to coach ourselves because he doesnt kno wat he's doing

Yeah, like depends how different his like coaching methods and style are. I hope it's all fine and hardly anything changes. Like youve got a settled team and style of play. Don't want it all changing as then its like trying to start a new season in the middle of this one. xxx

He can't really. Just going to have to trust you, or like you said just do your own thing. All he can really do is like, give his observations on games. Dont know what he'll try for practice's. Best thing might be to like let you guys run your own practice.xxx
Yeahh idk. We're basically coachless right now😕. The seniors are trying to get the old varsity coach before our last coach to come bak for the rest of the season. I never played for him he was the coach when i was in 8th grade so i'm nervous about him

Yeahhh like the jv they're good and all but they still need our jv coach to tell them what plays to run and what to do in certain situations which is fine they're young they'll learn watever. But the way our coach has taught and practiced us is to be like a mini college team. In college u don't see their coach yelling out wat to do every play those guys just kno wat to do and wat their roles on the field are and who to pass to and all that stuff. He was preparing us for playing in college that way and so there is a difference and we dont think our jv coach is going to understand that because we also dont practice with the jv they have their own practice so our jv coach has barely even see us practice wat we do how is he gonna be able to coach us to do that in a game??

Ah 😕. Like are the JV and varsity completely separate or is there like some overlap in like how you play and like what plays you have. Im guessing from what youve said the there is like none whatsoever. xxx
I mean....i guess it isnt as separate as i make it seem but there still is like it's two different levels of play. Our plays and formations that we run are different than theirs because we are playing at a faster pace. Like their plays are pretty basic ones but by them knowing those plays when they get to varsity they'll kno how to run our plays. So like with the JV coach he made up their plays and our coach made up our plays so yes the JV coach has the playbook but we're basically on our own running the plays in the right situations but thats what we've been trained for anyway lol so i feel like it's better we just do what we kno how to do on our own

Finally finished. Did the washing and all the ironing and folded to the best of my ability so now finally sat down to my first meal of the day. I'm so tired from yesterday and stiff as fuck and not the good kind for a change xxxx
