I read good literature, I told you that. There is no other way around it, you can not learn while obsessing over someone else's language.

No, it's okay. The first time I read a book it was an unabridged version of Around the World in 80 days. I hated that book, HATED. Because I couldn't even understand a single line let alone a whole page.
But you can do this, start with easier books. Why don't you read The Railway Children? it's easier. And if you come across difficult words (which I believe will not happen often) look them up in the dictionary. Else, you can try to make sense out of the word by reading the whole sentence in one go.

Its not about English you know. Its about insecurities we all have. Tbvh, I don't think my English is not that good, I suck at speaking or writing for that matter. And that's my insecurity, letting people know I lack something is the biggest one. One thing I'd advise you on this, stop comparing yourself to people, you are unique and complete on your own.
And if you really really want to improve on speaking or writing irrespective of the language, then read. And read extensively. Been there, done that. Aap chahain tou ap apni urdu bhi qadrey behtar bana sktay hain.^_^
