same q except the balls r 8 and using the balance only twice
In that case , bring 6 of them first , put 3 on each side.. If they are equal that means the different one is one of the 2 remaining balls which you can easily know .. If not , you bring the 3 which have the different one ??it becomes like the previous Q ?

put 6 on each pan, one will be heavier, then put 3 on each the 3 will remain in which one is heavier. put 1 on each side of the balance, if on the heavy one is on the balance u would notice, if they r of the same weight , the remaining ball is the heavier.
