That's a complex issue that doesn't really have one straight answer, and there are typically multiple reasons for discrimination.
• Intolerance - there are a lot of people are simply intolerant of people who have views or cultures that differ from their own.
• Failure to understand - it's scary when you don't understand something, and when you're fearful, you react, you aren't as open to learning as you might be when you're a more open-minded person.
• Fear mongering - religions are often to blame for a fair bit of wrong doings in the world, and when people only hear the negatives and none of the postives, then it's unrealistic to expect a person to be welcoming of those views.
• Cynnical / Arrogance / etc - in a lot of cases, some people just don't see the point in religion, and that's okay. Atheists used to be a really good group to look to for this, but they've become a militant group which is why I no longer associate myself with the term. I'm non-denominational. 😄

I have so much in mind with that "mistake". First of all, in my honest opinion, unless she's impregnated due to a "rape" case, I don't see it as a "mistake" since being there in the first place can possibly be avoided or that with the right presence of mind, it may be halted since both the man and the woman are aware of the consequences. There are many reasons why you may call it a "mistake", like being drunk at the bar, which is likely a rape scenario if it happened since she's not aware of it, failed contraceptives like tablets and injections and many more.
"Mistake" varies from case to case and it's as complicated as it can possibly be.
Abortion is killing, unless if ending the life of the child will save the mother or in exchange will cure someone with sever illness, I'd agree with it.
However, I really can't honestly take my side of whether abortion should be legal or not but as long as the intention is for the greater good, I believe whatever happens, people will have to adapt to it.

Strength is being able to continue doing what it is that fears you or harms you the most, despite everything in your mind and body telling you not to do it. Strength is extremely subjective and what may be seen as strength for one person may be ordinary for another. For example, a person diagnosed with depression would be considered strong because they were able to get out of bed on a particular day, cook themselves food, get dressed, maybe even clean the house. That is strength to them. However, to someone who does not have depression, that strength would be considered commonplace. The fact that strength is purely subjective doesn't diminish the meaning of that strength, however. Strength is something to be proud of and something to revere regardless of what your version of strength is like. The fact that you were able to recognize that strength is good enough.
