Was SDMI's ending planned to be the way it was (with a crazy apocalypse thing) from the beginning?
They had the basic idea down, and then built on that by letting the story grow as the series went on.

On the one hand Wyatt Russell getting all that hate shows how good of an actor he is, because he made U.S.Agent feel so real. But on the other hand, screw those people giving him hate, he's an actor, it's a show. Why people are that stupid not to understand that is beyond me.

I’m not sure. Chiklis was a decent choice for pre Thing Ben. I’d probably try to pick someone who looks a little like that but still focus on the actor’s voice
