Lesson not learned

We’re used to it. We’ve learned to survive in relationships like that. It’s comfortability in familiarity. In the long run, it’s not emotionally comfortable, but we are drawn to what we know and think we deserve based on what “love” experiences we had, especially in childhood (i.e. how are parents’ love, or lack thereof, formed our views on the subject.). It’s quite an interesting thing really and doesn’t just go for women. Each person’s childhood experiences shape their personal views and perception.
