"My head LITERALLY explodes when people misuse 'literally!'" But language is living - words change meaning as time moves on. If the majority of a language's users 'misuse' a word, are they actually misusing it, or are they redefining it? Where do you stand on this?

Suppose you could install a mechanism that would eliminate a basic bodily maintenance function (say, breathing, or blinking, or excreting, etc.), making it unnecessary for you and also impossible for you. Assuming it posed no risks to your safety, would you do it?

You're in traffic and need to be in a specific lane, and you notice a large amount of traffic building up only in that lane. Do you a) merge in as soon as possible so as to 'wait your turn,' or b) use one of the free-flowing lanes to bypass most of the backup and merge in farther ahead?

Jack meets Penelope online. They go on one date which seems to go well. Penelope is too "busy" to meet again. Jack bids farewell and moves on. A year later Penelope makes contact. What do you suppose is Penelope's goal? In Jack's experience, there is 0% chance of a "ghost" to make contact like this

There is a case in the US where a woman is on trial for manslaughter (criminal homicide) for a man's suicide. She bullied him somewhat but did not kill him. What are your thoughts on this sort of culpability?
