On the surface (at least how the story goes), it's a "celebrity" giving away to his fans in $10 increments money he won playing the lottery. If I work under the assumption that's all it is, then whatever it's cool and actually a nice guy thing to do since he really doesn't need the money. The guy's got Rolexs and fancy cars and just got a Maserati or some shit. However, the fact that it started RIGHT after all that Morphin Madness nonsense is too convenient for me to believe it's a coincidence. The thing is who doesn't love someone who gives them free, unearned money? The government does it all the time.

Probably Gaia Memories or Lock Seeds, since they can function on their own or with other toys.

what do u think of kamen rider ooo as a series
It's a pretty good show. I really like the concept and all the Medals. Plus Ankh is just a fantastic character. The Greeeds and their interactions as well as Dr. Maki made for a fun time, and you can't beat Kougami making a cake while the world is being destroyed around him. Also Date's abs.

What would you say is the worst gimmick of any toyline?
The Rouse Cards in Blade cause it's pretty much impossible to form a 52 card deck of show cards even if you buy all the toys.
thoughts on magi and bouken?
Magiranger I really liked. Like the others, it's in my top 5. The family theme was great, and the characters were all good, even if Houka was a little obnoxious sometimes. Hikaru was a flamboyant Daggeron, and Isamu was old Japanese Leanbow, which I was fine with. (I watched Mystic Force first) There was just a lot of cool things in that show with the magic and the mecha, and the ending was actually satisfying. Plus it gave us the first coming of Jin.
Boukenger I also liked, though not as much as Magiranger. The characters were good, and these were actual car/vehicle mecha that I liked. Having 4 competing villain groups was certainly different and made for some interesting fights. People like to talk about the Akashi/Sakura relationship being forced and quick, but the Urara/Hikaru one in Magiranger was pretty quick and forced seeming too. BoukenSilver was a really good 6th that had an actual interesting story. Masumi needs his teeth fixed.

What do you think of the new feminist toku podcast that just started?
How are we defining feminist? Are they all females doing a podcast geared towards female fans or even fans in general just to give the female perspective on toku? That would be fine. Are they a bunch of pissed off girls wanting to rant about toku being feminist for however long their show runs? That would just be stupid.

underrated and overrated sentai, rider, and power ranger seasons?

Underrated is easily Go-Busters. It's just so good, and there's so few problems with it.
Overrated has to be anything pre-Gao but especially pre-Zyu. There's very little English subs for things in that period, so I wonder how people can say they're so good. Also there's just the fact that I can't believe those shows are as good as the fandom claims they are. I really think it's latent PR hate. It's usually from people who dismiss modern Sentai as being a toy commercial and for kids when really that's all it ever was.
Rider:
Underrated is easily HIbiki. The first few episodes are VERY musical, and it scares some people away, myself included at first, but when you get past that and really watch it, it's really good and really fun.
Overrated is Kabuto and to a lesser extent Kuuga. Kabuto used to be the be-all end-all of Rider until Kuuga and Agito got decent subs, and it's really not that great. As for Kuuga, while good, I don't think it's as good as people make it.
PR:
Underrated I'll give to Turbo. Once the cast changes, the show gets a lot better. The new Rangers are much better than they're given credit for, plus Divatox is toned down, and Justin gets way too much hate. Plus Bulk and Skull stop being monkeys.
Overrated is easily Lightspeed. That show is god awful, but Linkara loved it and sucked Carter's dick, so the fandom loves it now. There's just so much bad about it that it hurts, and I'm tired of seeing the Titanium obsession. I like the suit too, but he was horribly underutilized.

Why did Momotaros need to possess someone when he could already turn into Den-O Sword Form?
He couldn't turn into Sword Form on his own until after the show and 3 movies. Originally he was in that gray sandy form. He couldn't take a full physical form until he made his contract with Ryotaro.

If a ToQger ranger key set is ever made, do you think ranger keys of all of the Norikae Changes would be made?
No. The way I see it the Norikae Change is an extension of the Ranger Key concept. There's no need to have 5 of each color. Anyone can use any key. The Ressha color determines the powers just like the key does.
What is your favorite Comic Series of all Time?
I don't read a lot of comics for money reasons but I've always been more of a DC fan than a Marvel one. I particularly like Batman, Green Lantern, and Green Arrow. I did read Astonishing X-Men a few years ago. That was cool.
How are you liking Sara as the Black Canary?
I really like it. I was expecting Laurel cause of comics and such or maybe even her mother but it's turning out really good. The actress is good and James Bamford does a great job with the fight scenes and stunts. He did all the work on Stargate Atlantis so I was confident with him from the start.
