What led to your breaking into the voice over business?

Thanks for asking! First I got my degree in theatre, moved to Texas, and I got all the acting experience I could get doing plays, film, virtual reality, lots of stuff. In the meantime I was taking voiceover workshops and learning about mic technique and things like that. Then it was network, network, network! The more acting work I did, the more people I met who worked in anime voiceover. I would always express interest and give them my card. :) I actually don't even know who put me on the list for Sentai's general auditions, but someone did (if it was you and you're reading this I LOVE YOU) and I got to audition for Emily Neves. Then the first director to call me in was Kyle Jones on Log Horizon! :D

Last time you cried

Watching Arrival with my boyfriend a few days ago. THAT MOVIE IS SO GOOD. Also last week watching Parks & Rec because my OTP finally got together. Yeah I cry really easily xD

Hey my question is.... is it fun go work with Jessica

Jessica from @Aphmau? Yeah, super fun! She has really good ideas. I also respect her a lot because she oversees so much and does a great job of it! I don't think people realize how hard she works and how much effort she puts in. My favorite thing is recording mini games because we all get to interact in real time, and she always cracks me up! XD Thanks for the question! <3

Where do you usually buy clothes? 🛍 Are there any main stores?

My fav brands are Iron Fist and Midnight Hour! :)

unpopular opinions:

I don't like Twin Peaks.
Snow is gross.
Leggings *can* be pants (restrictions apply).
AFYCSO is the least good (but still great) Panic album.

How many times do you have to constantly asking your parents if you could go out?

Uhhhh... none? I'm 25 lol I go out whenever I want! (that's a lie, I'm way too busy most days)

hardest thing about being a va?

This job is GREAT, so I don't like to complain too much, but if I had to say one thing, it's probably those times when you don't get called for a while. It happens to all VAs, because it's how the industry works. It's an ebb and flow. You'll have a really good month or two where lots of work is coming in and you're booking a lot of gigs... and then there'll be a dry spell and you don't get cast for a while. It's hard not to start doubting yourself and your abilities when that happens. But you just have to remind yourself that it's temporary, and you'll be on the up-and-up again soon! Good question!

What are your thoughts on a new Blade Runner movie coming out? (And or accompanying anime short?)

I'm excited about it! Both look like they're gonna be really cool. And did I see that the anime short is the same director as Cowboy Bebop? HELL YES. <3
