i dont read books but the drunkards walk and the mice of men
This is going to sound like a bizare contrast, but first the Bible, as it has helped shape my morales, and still influences the choices I make. Then the Harry Potter series.
(I can't just pickout one book from the series though), as Hermione, taught me that it's okay to be the nerd in my group of friends, Ginny taught me to like my hair color, and Luna taught me that not only that it is okay being different, but to embrace being different and not to shy away from it. What are the two most formidable books from each decade of your life?

The book of magic, the book of shadows, the book of the dead, necromancy, and the true historical biblical story of life. Most of those are all the same and some are not.
