That last person said delay of several minutes. Holy fuck. Every streamer I watch has their delay set to like, 30 seconds.
Several minutes is an obvious exaggeration. I'd say the average delay is 15 - 20 seconds. If streamers want they can delay it more. I have my delay set at 0, but the 15-20 second is on Twitch's end not mine.
Have you considered Streaming on Hitbox.tv instead of Twitch? There is far less lag between streamer and viewers, usually around 2-5 seconds, as opposed to several minutes on Twitch.
so how is the financial thing going ( no need for numbers) i remembered you being worried when you quit RT to pursue Twitch. since its been like 2-3 months are you still worried or is it working out great :)
It hasn't even been a month yet haha, but I'm still worried. Things have been great so far but I hope they continue for a while.
I really appreciate you uploading your streams on youtube! Im in nursing school so my schedule is fucked so i can never catch the streams live. Thanks again ray <3
No problem! I hope you can make it to one of my streams soon!
Hopefully this is constructive criticism (if a bit harsh) but there's very little point in uploading parts of your streams as you do without breaking them into smaller pieces. It's great that you have them split by game, and uploaded so fast, but it's not very digestible in multiple hour long vids.
Don't watch it one sitting. If I take the time to make it shorter then they can't be uploaded immediately after. The streams aren't meant to be treated as let's plays. They are just thrown up on YouTube for people who missed the stream and want to check it out.
