How did you become so famous like the superstar you are right now? In other words, how did you build up such a huge fan base? Did working at AH help you become famous? Because I also upload vids on YouTube and Twitch but I'm not famous at all.
Selling out.Real answer, I spent years building up a fanbase. 3 years of doing community videos for AH, working at AH for 3 years, then streaming on Twitch on my free time (before going full time) and going to events has helped me build what I have today.I'm thankful for every single one of my fans!
Hey Ray it seems like you haven't read most of the donations during the 1 year stream, any reason for that ?
I did the same thing for my first ever stream, the donations just kept coming quickly and there was no way to keep up. I made the conscious decision to read that after the stream. If I didn't do that then there wouldn't be any gameplay.
What happened to your previous twitch channel at twitch.tv/RNarvaezJr? Was it also taken away? Why is it inactive, what happened?
I made that channel just so I can talk in chat with that name when RoosterTeethRay got taken away. I never had any intentions of streaming on it. It's just a dead account now.
Sorry if this is a stupid question but did your parents actually divorce or are they still married? It would be really heartbreaking if they broke up.
My parents divorced years ago, when I was a teenager I think. They are still close and I'm able to see both of them together when I visit New York or when they come visit me together in Austin.
Would you recommend the Astros A50s? I'm worried battery life won't last as long as I need it to.
I like it, but it is very expensive. Battery life lasts around 8 hours. The headset itself is comfortable and sounds great. I haven't used the mic so I can't comment on that.
I don't have the money to donate to your streams unfortunately but I'd like to say thank you for the entertainment you provide. It's helped me through a lot. you are really appreciated. Brown heart.
Don't worry about it. I appreciate you watching the streams and I'm glad I can help out!
Does streaming solo ever feel weird for you? Like, your job consists of staying at home 24/7 all day, not go at the RT offices and stare at a monitor all day looking at words on a screen. You're like talking to yourself essentially. I'm not being an asshole but do you ever feel lonely and empty etc?
Nope. Maybe If I lived by myself, but since I live with Tina and we have our dog Charlie I don't feel alone at all. The setup I have is great and I love every second of it.
