If this is too personal for you to answer Ray, what was your reaction to Monty passing away? What did you do when you recieved the news?
I was upset. Monty was a really cool dude and a good friend. The hardest part was going to the hospital with Arin & Ross to see him. That was the only time Tina has seen me cry.
Does it make you uncomfortable when fans are filming while meeting/talking to you at conventions? I'm asking because I'll be bringing a camera to Pax South and want to know if you'd prefer I kept it off.
Nah I don't care. Just prepare for me to be awkward as fuck.
Having worked for RT and now being a successful streamer, have you set any new aspirations?
I would like to own a house at some point. I know that's not exciting but I think that would be cool. Hell, it would be awesome to have enough money to build our own :)
Do you think twitter making an official gaming account (whatever it may be used for) will help you get verified in any way? I feel like by creating that account they're acknowledging how big gaming is, and will start to acknowledge gamers as popular internet personalities worthy of verification
Hey Ray you're in the rare situation where you find yourself doing what you love, being with the person you love and constantly reminded of how loved you are by all your fans. I'm sure you appreciate it but do you ever feel the pressure of trying to maintain it all? If so how do you deal?
I don't feel any pressure at all. I know if I keep doing what I'm doing I'll be alright :)
Amiibo collecting is so addicting all I wanted was Link and now I have over 30 amiibo and I just pre ordered lucas, ryu and Famicom r.o.b. How did you get started with amiibo collecting?
Tina got me some for Christmas one year and I thought they were really cool. Decided I wanted them all.
I wanted to add you as a friend on the Wii u, but before actually doing that I wanted to know, do you accept friend requests from anyone or only people you play with?
I barely use my Wii U. Also the friend system for Nintendo consoles are terrible. No use in sending me a friend request.
At this point, does it still make you feel humbled when you get fan art and whatnot?
Of course it does. That will never change. Talented people taking time out of their day to draw or make something involving me will always be humbling.
