In any sort of entertainment series (Tv,Book, Movies,Comics, Games, etc.) what type of character do you usually favor?
I'm usually a fan of characters like the lovable asshole (Kirito from SAO abridged), the tusndere (Taiga from Toradora!), and the spontaneous optimist (Natsu from Fairy Tail), though I do have a soft spot for characters that have a kind nature and actually show it through action rather than just a description (Jack from Zoophobia is a great example).
What's the origin of your username?
"Scarlet" is a direct reference to my favorite anime character, Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail (Plus I thought the name itself was really pretty). "Otaku" is pretty much the word that I use to describe myself. I'm an otaku for everything that is a part of Japanese culture, whether it be manga/anime, history, language, fashion, etc. If it's a part of the culture, I geek out.
