/ I’m answering these together because they’re about the same thing kinda and I’m getting bored of answering the same thing again.

1) if you read the question that started this thread off it says that “after 2 months fc would be free for grabs”. It’s voting for an activity check thing, which after all this drama I’m not interested in there being an activity check or faceclaim drama. I’m over it. The simple solution is to just ask the admin OFF ANON to share, if they say no then move on, if they say yes then so be it. Really people should just be invested in their characters at this point and ignore the faceclaim. Like I said earlier, if you desperately want a faceclaim make the character and roleplay with people from here but just don’t make them an ask and don’t make them from the HA universe. It avoids drama, and sorts the issue out quite simply. :’)

2) an anon mentioned about it feeling admined on anon to the nonnie page thing so if you want a name I don’t have one because everyone sends everything on anon instead of just having an actual convo off anon. Isobel’s admin mentioned it, and I think Seph’s admin ( kinda not reall ) implicitly mentioned it. I’m not gonna lie, I can see where they’re coming from, I kinda agree to an extent. The nonnie has everyone’s interests at heart, they’re extremely sweet and kind, and it was lovely for them to do all this ( and go to the effort of reviving here ) but it’s naturally gonna have that feel because one person runs it. If anyone who wanted access had access then it would feel less like it, or if loads of nonnie things started to pop up.

Either way, moving on, this whole thing is getting exhausting and like I said I’m over the faceclaim drama. I have Skylar and Chloe. There’s no point in discussing this on anon because it gets no where but a constant back and forth clogging up everyone’s feed with unnecessary toxicity. If you dont want to stand by what you say, and would rather hide on anon, then I won’t really bother responding because it just shows you aren’t committed to whatever you’re asking. Nobody has anything to hide, we aren’t judgemental, I’m not gonna out you for having a different opinion, but yeah. / I’m some people agree and stuff, but obviously there’s a lot of opinions here ( mine included ) that conflict and cause controversy which is also something that needs to be considered so everyone can be happy. The poll idea is good, my only issue ( despite the nonnie being incredible and super sweet for doing this and helping run this place ) is that we have one person operating the anon and some people have mentioned that it feels very admined here which isn’t what we wanted so I think that’s something people need to deal with or at least consider a solution? Honestly it’s quality over quantity when it comes to the time here — if you appreciate and love this place as much as the rest of us, then you’re just as valid and so is your opinion as I know most of us have HA’s best interests at heart. Just the faceclaim thing /really/ needs to be dropped. I think going back to the whole asking to share would be better, and get rid of the activity check thing. Like I thought the faceclaim was solved the first time it was brought up. As well I think people just need to think, and be selfless; if they know they don’t use a certain faceclaim often that’s popular, then share? It’s just a selfless thing to do. However don’t feel forced into it, if you really don’t want to then that should be respected.

/ firstly thank you for sending this — everyone communicating is the best way for us to deal with this, especially off anon which I highly respect. In my opinion, I think that the fact we’re sitting on a fence somewhere between a group and freeverse is half the issue. A group tends to have rules, limitations, and ‘law and order’ for people to follow so things don’t get out of control. Freeverse is based solely around freedom to do whatever we want when we want, which this place doesn’t have due to the group aspect and having to think about others feelings. This place has been a roleplay home to me for a while now, as a lot of you can relate to, and it would be heartbreaking for it to fall apart ( especially for those who saw the collapse the first time around ). The whole faceclaim thing is bullshit, to be honest. Can’t people just be content with the characters they have? If you’re so desperate for a certain faceclaim so much so you might die without it, then go make the character elsewhere? Or make the character and roleplay with people from here but just don’t be apart of the HA universe. Like we all need to meet each other halfway, otherwise it’s gonna lead from one massive fuck up to the other. I agree that there are good and incredible people here, which I have had the privilege of meeting, but those same people are also sick of the drama. This whole thing is nothing but a headache and I think we need to just get over it and stick to the characters we have and the free faceclaims. I think as well we need to determine a set of lines we don’t cross like more than 2 of the same faceclaim, only take free ones unless asked, you can interact with people outside of HA, blah blah. Stuff like that? I guess it just depends on how important this place is to people. But we’re a community, this is a group effort and we all need to work together otherwise this place isn’t going to work, and we’ll only have ourselves to blame.

/ preferably only Debby and Vanessa — I kinda like using Leighton and Sierra for my characters. :’) slightly off topic, and nothing against you because you asked a valuable question that I respect, but like this whole faceclaim drama is super draining. The whole atmosphere here is getting so fucked up. Like I consider myself one of the og’s ( not as long as most of them ) but I was around when HA was admined and that place closed because of toxicity. Honestly they’re fc’s, I get the appeal and stuff of having a faceclaim you admire/like but I think people should just focus on their characters. All of this fc nonsense has happened because of ask. If we didn’t have ask and we just roleplayed on pages we could use any faceclaim, as many characters we want, and no one would mind because let’s face it half of us don’t even interact with each other let’s be honest. Don’t take any offence to this, seriously, I don’t mean any to anyone but like seriously guys come on, this is such a first world issue and both sides can be taken to extremes. If we wanna put rules and regulations in, it becomes too admined, then if we wanna stay true to freeverse then technically people could use any faceclaim they want, however many characters and no one can get pissy over it because that’s what a freeverse is ( like look how many stefans and Elenas are on Facebook pages, like THAT’s freeverse at its exteme ). Idk what everyone wants to do, but like this needs to get sorted before people just want to leave. Much love x
