Prompt for you: Puppy!Chanyeol and Kitty!Baekhyun. >_<
If there was one thing that Baekhyun didn’t like about Chanyeol, it was the fact that the puppy hybrid was so god damn friendly with everyone. Baekhyun was sitting in the corner of the coffee shop, waiting for Chanyeol to come back with their drinks, but he was too busy chatting with Jongdae, the barista.
Jongdae was laughing, reaching across the counter to ruffle Chanyeol’s hair. Baekhyun glared at him, not that anyone noticed. Chanyeol was /his/, not anyone else’s, and he hated the thought of other people touching him - even if it was just friendly, nothing more. Baekhyun supposed it was just part of his nature - cat hybrids were fiercely protective over their property. And while Chanyeol wasn’t his /property/, the word that came to mind when he thought of the silly puppy was /mine/.
Chanyeol returned with two steaming mugs and a smile, but Baekhyun just crossed his arms, leaning back in his seat. “So, I saw that you were getting pretty cozy with the barista.”
Chanyeol grinned, a large goofy grin that took up half of his face. His sleek chocolate tail whacked against the chair as he sat down. “Jongdae is really nice, isn’t he?”
Baekhyun scoffed, his feline ears twitching with annoyance. “Can we please leave? I want to go home.”
“But we just got here,” Chanyeol pouted, slurping on his drink.
“I’ll rub your tummy.”
Chanyeol grabbed Baekhyun’s wrist and dragged him out of the little coffee shop, abandoning their still-full cups on the table. Baekhyun was still giggling when Chanyeol flopped onto the navy sheets of their bed after they returned home.
Baekhyun stood in the doorway, smiling. He got jealous easily, but deep down he knew that Chanyeol was always going to be there for him. Dogs were fiercely loyal, and hybrids were no exception.
He must have taken too long because Chanyeol started wiggling on the bed impatiently. “Baek,” he whined, “aren’t you going to rub my tummy?”
Baekhyun crawled on the bed next to him, and helped Chanyeol remove his shirt. Baekhyun nuzzled against Chanyeol’s side, and Chanyeol sighed happily once Baekhyun’s warm fingers were splayed across his abdomen, trailing softly across his stomach. His arms wrapped around Baekhyun, pulling them closer together until Baekhyun was purring with amusement as he rubbed Chanyeol’s stomach with all the love and care in the world. There was nothing he loved more than being in Chanyeol’s arms like this.
