Why do people give up so easily on relationships nowadays? Are we becoming more and more selfish?
I think there are a number of different factors why people seem to easily give up on relationships nowadays. The most common of these is probably because people tend to quickly get into relationships without truly thinking it over, and without ever working hard for it.
Everything is automatic now and people are simply in a rush. You met just fairly recently and before long, you're a couple already. The problem with this is you might not really be invested in each each other just yet, so at the first sign of trouble, you just as easily give up and break up.
