Dear Cazzy , when you've time , plz tell what a '360 camera' is . . . I used to use 35mm . . . . I recall in 1999 / 2,000 , saying to my then g/f "what do you think of these new digital cameras ; do you think they'll ever replace 35mm?" ~ hahahaha!!
~ I recall when Ben was being born (may '86) , I had no camera ; we were in our labour room . ~Ben was our third , so we were so confident & relaxed~ ; I said to our midwife , a lovely young girl of about 20 , "Have I got time to nip out & buy a camera?" She confidently promised & guaranteed he wouldn't be born till i got back . . . . she was totally right , thought i was absolutely panicking !
The delivery went like a dream . . . & after our midwife thanked us for 'being a perfect couple' & making it such a wonderful experience . . . FOR HER ! Then she told us it was HER first solo delivery !!! We posed for lots of huggy photos , the 4 of us . . . . amazing . ! x

Ireland has introduced paid paternity leave for 2 weeks for fathers within the first 6 months of birth/adoption effective september. Should it be longer? Shorter? Up to the employer/employee themselves? Should other ciuntries who dont do this follow suit too?

~ I THINK it's an obligation for EU member states ; had it in UK for @ least ten years when I first heard of , think it's been adopted here much longer though ; 2 weeks is statutory obligatory . Some Employers offer more . Garry (sil) got 2 weeks , could have had another 6 weeks on half pay , but can't afford that ~ got big mortgage .
~ I think it's reasonable . ~no way leave up to employer.
~ I know a girl ~Lucy-J , about 4 years ago , got pregnant to an acquaintance -soldier boy ; well @ least she had the baby . . . . . dumped her on her ma , & sez to soldier boy , "you might as well have a free holiday" ~ he spent it in the Caribbean with his mates . . .
~ There will be abuses ,but that's tough , why should ordinary people lose out?
~ I do believe she is getting better involved with her little one , soldier-boy is even growing up a bit . . .
