Sort of Serious question: why do guys at my school say "ew no" or "gross" when someone asks if they like me when I'm like literally right there & I can hear them? & if I'm so gross why do my friends call me pretty? Just to make me Feel better?? Or? I don't get it.
Guys are really weird like that. Just because someone doesn't fit their personal preferences they automatically shit their common sense off a react like kids. You're probably gorgeous and those guys just don't want to admit it and your friends and telling you the truth. Just ignore guys bc 99.9% of what they say shouldn't affect you unless it's of importance

Well try to ask him more questions about how he is and stuff and pay attention to how replies. If it's dry then consider talking to him about it. If it's not then ask him if he feels the awkwardness too bc it might just be you. Try and talk it out and FIND what's making the awkwardness apparent and eliminate that aspect
