Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I used to take pictures of things everywhere I went and wrote about random things all day long. I miss it too and I don't know why I haven't been able to get back into it!!

What is your favorite boba drink?

Matcha milk tea with red bean from Sharetea!! It is my go to drink, though I guess it doesn't technically have boba. If you like matcha, I think this place makes the beeest matcha drink. And the red beans provides an added thickness to the drink.
If I don't get that, then I'll get some sort of boba smoothie (avocado or strawbana) or a milk tea with baby boba. Yum!!

Mother’s Day is right around the corner! How do you plan on spoiling the big momma?

I bought my mom a camera and a memory card since she was going on a trip a few days later! I got her the same little Sony camera that I used to use ALL the time - for a majority of my photos and videos all throughout high school. It is the Sony DSC-W830 and I bought a 32GB card. It is so sleek and compact, I even brought it with me to 6 Flags on all of the rides (zipped in my pocket). It is super easy/basic for people like my mom to use. It takes great quality photos and videos, without taking up as much space and it is faster to process. Highly recommend.
And then I bought my boyfriend's mom the MOMAGER kit from Kylie Cosmetics!

You should totally do vlogs on youtube! I would so watch. Makeup tutorials, just talking/discussion videos, Q&A, mukbangs, monthly favorites... You would be super popular. Ever thought of starting a channel? Please doooooo

Sweet anon! <3 Thank you! I've thought about it, but I'm not the most entertaining person! I'm not good at makeup/beauty so I don't think I'd do those types of videos. But I used to take lots of videos just for fun/memories and so I'd like to get back into it - I just have to think what kind of videos would be good for me :o
And I diiiiid just recently buy a new camera with the intention of taking more videos...so stay tuned :)

Do you ever feel depressed? Often? If so, what personally about personally in your life?

Hm, I don't often get depressed. But I think everybody has those at least a couple of days where they just feel sad about certain things. For me, I get sad thinking about things like "Are my parents happy with their simple life?" I get sad because they don't have much monetary wise and never really splurge. I really want to spoil them and bring them to places they've never been before. Soon, I will be able to.

do you cook well? ??

I definitely don't cook often enough to say I cook well. I'm pretty good at the basics - but to be honest, I think even so I am doing well. You'd be surprised how many people my age can't properly cut/slice and don't know the fundamental rules of cooking. I have a couple of dishes that I think are pretty good!

Do you ever want kids? If so, what is your ideal age for having your first one?

Yea I'd want kids! I think the earliest I would have a kid is 28 - I wouldn't want one any younger because I'd want to still have that one-on-one time with my partner and travel as a young couple. I'd also want to be fully stable in my finances before introducing a third being to the mix.

What's your relationship like with your coworkers, friends, siblings, parents, boyfriend, and God? On top of that, are you as close to everyone as you want to be?

Coworkers - I'm normally the younger one so it's often a niece-aunt/uncle or little sibling-big sibling relationship dynamic. I yearn to learn from them and they are generous to give me their wisdom.
Friends - low maintenance relationships. we are all doing really cool stuff and many of us are physically located in different places. And though it is from afar, I am so proud of them!
Siblings - with the sister it is more like a a cool/hip aunt/niece relationship. with the brother it is a more formal relationship than most.
Parents - traditional chinese daughter-parent relationship. I think when a family has both a daughter and a son, the daughter is expected to spend more time and help more with the parents.
Boyfriend - spoiled girlfriend and eager to please boyfriend relationship is definitely how we would explain it haha.
God - follower and guide/number 1 relationship.
You know, I often do beat myself over not being as close to EVERYONE as I could be. But realistically, I think I am actually killing it considering how busy my professional/academic life is. I'd say my relationship with God, my boyfriend, my/his parents, and my coworkers are A1 right now. These are the relationships that are of highest priority to me because the respective person and I are most dependent on each other.

You're stuck on an island. How would you spend your time?

Well if it's a deserted island, I would spend my time trying to get back to civilization!
If it's a relaxing island vacation, I would spend my time taking photos of the island, talking to locals, and drinking lots of fruit smoothies.

What if you are allergic, but you want a dog that much?

It depends on the extent of the allergies and how harmful it is to my overall health. But, if it's just a runny nose or irritated eyes then, to me, dogs are still worth it. Also, I know a lot of dog owners for whom is a reality and they're fine with what becomes the normal everyday allergies.

Are goodbyes hard for you?

Sometimes it definitely is! Just verbally saying it can trigger watery eyes or a knot in my throat.

What did you forget to do today?

Today was a long day, but I don't think I forgot anything! I swear by my calendar and put every detail on there with multiple reminders!

I am an Aquarius! I don't follow nor am I well-informed on horoscopes, so I don't necessarily believe in them :o However Michael is a Libra and Google says we are compatible, so that doesn't hurt!

Please tell us about your sweet new job! When do you start and do you get to travel a lot?

Thanks for asking! I'll be working in the technology division of a services company - I will be helping to design and implement various technologies and software.
I will be get the chance to travel a lot! It is apparently the division that travel the most because we work on client site for the majority of project timelines. Many friends/past coworkers say people either hate or love the travel. Obviously many pros/cons to travelling, but I think I will like it! I know the organization takes good care of their travelling employees.

On a scale from 1 to 10 how weird are you?

I don't think I'm the weirdest person. I'm going to go with a 4.

How are you handling what’s soon to be a long distance relationship though not really long distance but kinda?

Hi anon! Thanks for asking. Currently, I don't really think about it much since it hasn't happened yet! But I am actually very optimistic about it, whether we will have to go weeks without seeing each other or not.
I also think one of the issues with long distance is if 1 person is really busy and the other is not. Michael will be busy doing his teaching credential and I'll be busy doing my stuff so we will be focused on growing and becoming better for our own sake and for each other's future.
Also, I have a very unconventional job which allows me to fly family members out to wherever I am. So with that blessing, I think we will luckily be seeing each other more than most long(ish) distance people get to :)

When are you and Michael getting married already??!!

In less than two years Michael will be turning 26! Technically, at that point, he can no longer be listed under his parents' very good insurance. And since I also happen to have good insurance, it would be best if he then went under mine (rather than his employer's). In order to get covered, he would have to be my spouse and so he'll just have to marry me ^-^
