Hello there, I would say the typical things such as do a lot of exercises, make sure you understand the format of financial statements, be meticulous when you get a question (make sure you are aware of every information given), and lastly, find a friend who is good at accounting and ask him or her to teach you if you don't understand anything. That's all. I hope it helps.
